A Journey of two Sister's

Our story would not be complete without letting you know that this is not just a story of my family's journey but a journey of two families with a very special bond of two sisters. My sister, Dawn, and I began this journey of adoption together along with our families. We have both been called to adopt from China, as we know that our daughters are there waiting for us.

If someone told me years ago that we would be walking this adventure out together, I would have never believed it. My sister and I have not always been close, but our relationship has grown and blossomed since we became adults. Our relationship with God and our dependence on Him, has enabled our relationship to grow far beyond our dreams. We now don't know what we would do without each other. My prayer is that our daughters, though cousins, will share that same bond.

The Beginning of our Journey

We began our journey to Lily Marie back in September 2006. After a couple years of prayer, God revealed that this was His plan for our family. We were in unity about this decison and our children were very excited to hear the news! It has been a long wait, but we are excited about what God has in store for us.

On December 4, 2008 we submitted our Medical Conditions Checklist to our adoption agency in order to enter the "waiting child program". This program is for children who have special needs. We are praying that the wait will be shorter and we can bring Lily home in 2009. Below are our stats:
