A Journey of two Sister's

Our story would not be complete without letting you know that this is not just a story of my family's journey but a journey of two families with a very special bond of two sisters. My sister, Dawn, and I began this journey of adoption together along with our families. We have both been called to adopt from China, as we know that our daughters are there waiting for us.

If someone told me years ago that we would be walking this adventure out together, I would have never believed it. My sister and I have not always been close, but our relationship has grown and blossomed since we became adults. Our relationship with God and our dependence on Him, has enabled our relationship to grow far beyond our dreams. We now don't know what we would do without each other. My prayer is that our daughters, though cousins, will share that same bond.

  3. Kelly, Thank you for sharing this amazing journey. I've found you while I was searching for adoption information through the web and couldn't be happier when I saw Lily's story. I'm married and we don't have any children yet. Even though I want one or two on my own, God put the desire in my heart to adopt a girl. I live in Puerto Rico and I don't know where to start with this process. God bless you and your beautiful family!
