Family Picture Day & Updates

On Sunday it was rainy here, so we decided to go to an indoor mall and walk around. It was a beautiful mall which was about 5 stories high. They had a ton of American stores, but they were all the expensive ones. Not the one that I tend to shop at, but it was a good day to go to a mall and get the kids out of the hotel for a bit. They ended up taking their naps in their strollers that day. We headed back to the hotel around 3 for our visa paperwork that afternoon. Here are some pictures from our outing....

On Monday, the weather was beautiful and the sun was shining and we had blue skys!!! We headed to the pearl market in the morning and then after failed attempts to get a taxi and head back to the hotel we went back and found our guide. We had 5 taxi drivers tell us "no". Crazy! So, we enjoyed lunch with our group and then headed back to the hotel together. The kids took a nap and then we headed over to the island with the Smiths for some shopping and dinner. We needed to find outfits for the kids for pictures the next day. Then we had a fun dinner at Lucys. Check out Liam playing with his noodles...
Today was our picture day! No red couch, sigh. We had stairs though. Here are some pictures of the kids in their beautiful outfits.

It is really hard to get Liam to stand or sit still long enough for a picture, so we took him outside to see if we could get some more shots in his silks before we called it quits.

The little boy in the picture with Liam is the Smith's little boy Wen. Liam and Wen were in the same foster home together since they were babies.
Liam is doing so good. We are so blessed to have such a sweet, funny little boy. God has been good to us and we are so grateful. We found out yesterday that the chinese character for Liam means glory. WOW! He really is an amazing boy. So full of life. He loves to laugh and be silly. He tries to say everything you say which is wonderful. I can't wait for everyone at home to meet him. You will fall in love with him immediately. There is nothing not to love about him. Here are a few more pictures from our past few days.
My fist kiss...
Lily and Liam playing in the hotel room..

Liam's favorite food (some type of egg custard)...
And here is a photo of the day Liam offically became our son!
That's it for now. We are planning to head over to the park when the kids get up from their naps. Should be able to get some more pictures there. Then we will head to the zoo tomorrow morning. Only a few more days and we will be home. We are missing everyone so much. I can't wait to give Morgan and Mason a big hug and have some quite family time together. Well it may not be quite but it will be nice to be home.
